Researchers detail in 'Total hip arthroplasty for patients with osteoarthritis secondary to hip pyogenic infection,' new data in osteoarthritis. According to recent research from Hangzhou, People's Republic of China, "Pyogenic hip arthritis occurs most often in young patients. Delayed treatment causes significant anatomical deformation of bony and soft tissue structures leading to premature onset of secondary osteoarthritis."
