Studies from University of Paris update current data on otosclerosis

Fresh data on otosclerosis are presented in the report 'Audiovestibular function in patients with otosclerosis and balance disorders.' "The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical aspects of balance disorders and to assess the audiovestibular functions of patients with otosclerosis. Among 13,800 patients examined for balance disorders between 2002 and 2006, 98 (0.7%) presented with otosclerosis," researchers in France report.
