Amplicor MTB Test Shows High Sensitivity

Although the Amplicor Mycobacterium tuberculosis test is acceptable for routine use in the clinical laboratory, it should be run as an adjunct to smears and culture with at least three samples for each patient, according to a report from the Institut Pasteur of the West Indies.
