I2646 and S1 M. tb Strains Don't Produce 19-kDa

Certain strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis do not appear to produce the 19-kDa glycoprotein.

Researcher R. Lathigra and colleagues found that the two M. tuberculosis strains I2646 and S1 do not produce the 19 kDa glycoprotein after analyzing a panel of nine strains for the presence of several antigens.
