Supervised TB Therapy Less Expensive Alternative to DOT

Supervised therapy that is individualized is a practical and effective alternative to directly observed therapy, according to a report from Canada's Montreal Chest Institute.

Researcher M. Desrosiers and colleagues outlined the modified supervised therapy, which is less labor intensive than directly observed therapy (DOT) at the American Lung Association/American Thoracic Society 1996 International Conference held May 10-15 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
