 M. tb Isoleucyl-tRNA Synthetase Cloned

The cloning and primary structure of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase has been reported by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research.

The findings suggest that Mycobacterium tuberculosis isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase has an evolutionary history distinct from that of other eubacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetases.
