Organizers Appear Ready to Expand Next Year's Retrovirus Conference

Widely criticized for elitist and restrictive registration policies in the past, organizers of the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections appear to be ready to bow to pressure and expand next year's meeting.

Details on just how big the conference will be, and who will be welcome, are yet to be worked out, but it seems certain that the conference, regarded the most important AIDS meeting held in the United States, still will not be open to everyone who wants to attend.
