According to an abstract submitted by the author to the 37th ICAAC, held September 28 - October 1, 1997, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, "Problem: Resurgence of TB and widening impact of MDR-TB are serious issues for infection control. While intermediate and high level germicides are required to be tuberculocidal, their testing is often flawed. It is also not known if MDR-TB have altered resistance to germicides. Four U.S. EPA-registered products were therefore evaluated.
