According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 4th International Congress on Drug Therapy in HIV Infection, held November 8-12, 1998, in Glasgow, United Kingdom, "The purpose of this study is to describe the prevalence and clinical course of MAC infection cases occurred in a cohort of 105 HIV vertically infected children followed at our Center in the period 1986-1998.
