Hepatotoxicity is Real Problem with Isoniazid

Monthly liver function testing is critical in anyone receiving isoniazid for the prevention of tuberculosis, according to an Australian report.

Researchers from Victoria's Monash Medical Center found the incidence of hepatotoxicity to be significant in a group of healthcare workers who were receiving prophylaxis with isoniazid.
