The new serological assay (DETECT-TB, BioChem ImmunoSystems), uses three recombinant proteins and two synthetic peptides for the detection of the anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis IgG. The test was evaluated by M. Amicosante and colleagues from Italy's University of Modena.
