National TB Containment Programs Needed in Africa

The establishment of large national programs is needed to combat the growing epidemic of tuberculosis in sub-Saharan Africa, according to a report from Uganda.

In this study, F. Nuwaha et al. examined the role of chemoprophylaxis as a public health strategy for the control of tuberculosis in sub-Saharan Africa.
