Contact Tracing is Valuable in TB Setting

Researcher D. del Castillo Otero and colleagues analyzed the results of the tuberculosis contact tracing carried out in an outpatient pneumology setting and assessed its performance with regard to the detection of new cases of tuberculosis and infected contacts ("Investigation of Tuberculosis Contacts in a Non-Hospital Pneumology Practice," European Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease, 1999; 18(11):790-795).
