Enhanced Disease Associated with Strong T-Cell Activation

Analysis of T- and B-cell responses to candidate vaccines in outbred human populations may be used to guide the development of protective, non-pathogenic vaccines, according to researchers in England.

In human infants, vaccination against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can enhance disease during subsequent natural infection, noted Caroline Maher and colleagues.
