Genome Type 7h Associated with Outcome of Respiratory Tract Infection

Adenovirus genome type 7h is associated with a more severe outcome of acute lower respiratory tract infections (ALRI) in children infected with adenoviruses (Ad), according to researchers.

In young children in Chile, Ad play an important role in the etiology of ALRI.
