Respiratory Viruses and Asthma Induce Different Responses in Children

According to investigators at the Hanyang University College of Medicine, T helper cells 1 or 2 responses (Th1 or Th2) differ in pediatric patients based on the particular virus or asthmatic problem with which they are plagued.

These findings were presented at the 56^th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology held in San Diego, California.
