Sputum Induction for Tuberculosis Sampling Works Well in Young Children

According to a study conducted by researchers in South Africa, sputum induction can be performed on young infants and patients just as well as it can be done on older children and adults.

Sputum induction is used to obtain a sample for confirming tuberculosis infection in patients.
