Scientists Outline Clinical Symptoms of Tuberculosis in Infants

Medical investigators at the University of Athen's P. and A. Kyriakou Children's Hospital in Greece outlined the clinical symptoms of tuberculosis in infants in a recent edition of the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.

"A worldwide re-emergence of tuberculosis has been observed during the last decade. However, few studies of infants with tuberculosis appear in the literature," said H.C. Maltezou and associates in their report ("Tuberculosis during infancy," Int J Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, 2000;4(5):414-419).
