International Training Efforts Directed at Tuberculosis Testing and Diagnosis

Tuberculosis remains a threat in countries throughout the world, and especially in developing countries, scientists report.

With the use of international training efforts such as those coordinated by the Association of Public Health Laboratories, tuberculosis infection can be prevented and controlled, according to a public health official's report presented at the recent CDC 2000 International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases.
