Dual Epidemic is Developing in Russia

A. Vasyliev and colleagues from the Research Institute of Phthysiopulmonology, Russia, conducted a study of "the dynamics of a HIV and TB epidemic in the population of the Kalyningrad region" of the country. They presented their findings at the 10th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, held in Stockholm, Sweden. The title of their presentation was "HIV + tuberculosis dual epidemic development in northwest Russia."
