Partners in Health Harnesses Telemedicine Platform for Research and Treatment

PictureTel^R Corp. (PCTL) announced that Partners in Health, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the health of poor communities, has selected the PictureTel 900 Series for remote medical consultation and distance education relating to its tuberculosis initiative.

The PictureTel 900 Series products use the next-generation iPower^TM integrated collaboration architecture, developed jointly by PictureTel and Intel.

Partners in Health purchased the systems from PictureTel partner 2C Communications Group, headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, which has donated time and services to Partners in Health. 2C offers...
