Insecticide-Treated Bed Nets Reduce Morbidity in Endemic Areas

The researchers assessed the impact upon very young children of distributing nets treated with insecticide, reported Salim Abdulla and colleagues from the Swiss Tropical Institute. Abdulla et al. published their study in the British Medical Journal ("Impact on malaria morbidity of a program supplying insecticide treated nets in children aged under 2 years in Tanzania: Community cross-sectional study," BMJ, February 3, 2001;322:270-273).
