Travelers Head Out Armed Against Malaria, But Not Gonorrhea

That just doesn't make sense when so much care is taken to avoid other contagious diseases, with appropriate vaccinations, medications, and education.

"Prevention of STDs is a low priority among travel clinic services, despite increasing evidence that travelers have an increased risk of acquiring such infections," warned A. Matteelli and G. Carosi at the Clinic of Infectious and Tropical Diseases in Brescia, Italy.
