Philadelphia Zoo Issues Mosquito Update

Mosquito populations at the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Zoo continue to be monitored by the Philadelphia Department of Health.

An analysis of mosquito traps located throughout the Zoo indicate the mosquito population at the Zoo is at low levels. Along with the Department of Public Health, the Zoo continues to monitor its animal collection closely for signs of exposure to West Nile virus.
