EPA grants BioShield new use approval for polymers

BioShield Technologies, Inc., (BSTI) announced that the EPA has granted approval for a new-use application of BioShield's Antimicrobial line of products for the polymers industry.

This new use approval significantly extends the use of BioShield's product line as an antistatic agent as well as to eliminate degradation of the polymer.

This new use approval provides BioShield with a quick entry into a new field of use, which includes, among other things, polymeric coatings, gel coatings, amino resins, epoxy laminating polymers and blends and copolymers; as outlined in BioShield's EPA Registration #70871-1
