Endothelial ectoalkaline phosphatases could be antimalaria therapeutic target

Study results suggest that endothelial ectoalkaline phosphatases and/or signaling molecules could serve as therapeutic targets for severe malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum infection.

B.G. Yipp and colleagues, University of Calgary, published their findings in a recent issue of the journal Blood.
