Tuberculosis outbreak occurs among homeless persons with HIV

A tuberculosis outbreak occurred among homeless persons who were co-infected with HIV in North Carolina.

According to recent research from the United States, "We investigated a cluster of patients with tuberculosis (TB) in North Carolina and determined the extent of transmission of one strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis."
