Larviciding could help protect against West Nile virus, studies show

"Biological larviciding is one of the most effective and environmentally friendly means of controlling mosquitoes," said Ned Walker, an entomology professor at Michigan State University. "Larviciding reduces the mosquito population to a level we can effectively control later in the season."
