West Nile virus found in Oregon horses

A horse in Linn County and three more in Malheur County have tested positive for West Nile virus, state health officials said.

The Linn County horse lives near Mount Hoodoo, about one mile from the Deschutes County border and a couple of miles from the Jefferson County border. It is on its way toward a full recovery, said Don Hansen, state veterinarian.
