Michigan state employees to be screened after worker is diagnosed with TB

State officials learned about the employee's condition September 9, 2004, said T.J. Bucholz, spokesman for the state Department of Community Health.
"The individual has been tested by the Detroit Department of Health. The individual has tested positive and is on leave and recovering," Bucholz told the Detroit Free Press for a September 7, 2004, story. "We are in the process of testing additional employees to see if the disease is causing additional problems."
