Bispecific monoclonal antibody detects causative agent of whooping cough

A bispecific monoclonal antibody is used to detect Bordetella pertussis, the causative agent of whooping cough.

According to a study from Canada, "A bispecific monoclonal antibody (bsMAb) that detects Bordetella pertussis, the causative agent of whooping cough, and horseradish peroxidase (HRPO) has been developed by use of the quadroma technology."
