Unmet dental needs perceived to be associated with socioeconomics in HIV/AIDS

Unmet dental needs in HIV/AIDS patients are perceived to be associated with their socioeconomic status.

According to a study from the United States, "This longitudinal study examines perceived unmet dental need in a nationally representative probability sample of HIV-infected persons in medical care."

"A logistic regression analysis modeled the relationship between unmet need and explanatory variables," said M. Marcus and colleagues at the University of California, Los Angeles.
