Four grants will aid new approaches in medical research and health policy

The Chiron Foundation, a nonprofit philanthropic organization funded by Chiron Corp. (CHIR), announced that it has awarded a total of $90,000 to 4 organizations whose programs are accelerating the discovery of novel therapies and furthering the use of science and technology in healthcare.

The recipients are the American Society of Transplantation, the Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics, the Myelin Repair Foundation (MRF), and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
