Spoligotyping demonstrates that a nursing auxiliary pulmonary tuberculosis case was unrelated to cases of tuberculosis at the same hospital. "Transmission of tuberculosis within hospitals has been increasingly recognized as a hazard for patients and health care workers. A case of pulmonary tuberculosis was detected in September 2003 in a nursing auxiliary working at Avicenne's Hospital. "This 49 year-old woman was considered infected since April 2003.
