Drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates from South Africa are pyrazinamide resistant

In a recently published study, investigators in South Africa conducted a study to "determine the extent of pyrazinamide (PZA) resistance in isolates from previously treated patients from the Western Cape, South Africa.
