A report, 'Rapid detection of oculopathogenic adenovirus in conjunctivitis,' is newly published data in Current Microbiology. According to a study from Mansoura, Egypt, "Ocular adenovirus (Ad) infections occur throughout the world in both sporadic and epidemic forms. Accurate laboratory diagnosis of Ad in conjunctival samples is always valuable."
