Scientists discuss in 'Outbreak studies of a GII-3 and a GII-4 norovirus revealed an association between HBGA phenotypes and viral infection' new findings in gastroenteritis. According to a study from the United States, "Noroviruses are the major viral pathogen of epidemic acute gastroenteritis.
