Benth (EM), and Aster brachytrichus Franch (AB), confused under the vernacular name ''meiduoluomi'' by native people and traditional healers, have been used for the treatment of meningitis, polyneuritis, hepatitis, adenolymphitis, and enteronitis in traditional Tibetan medicine.
