New infectious diseases research from Istanbul University, Medical Department outlined

According to a study from Istanbul, Turkey, "Hydatid disease (HD) is endemic in many parts of the world. It may develop in almost any part of the body; the liver is the organ most frequently involved." "HID in an unusual location may make differential diagnosis difficult. Isolated retroperitoneal HD is extremely rare. Case report: We report herein a case of retroperitoneal HID mimicking retroperitoneal malignant tumor," wrote C.
