Study results from University of Sao Paulo update understanding of life sciences

According to recent research from Sao Carlos, Brazil, "Leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis are major causes of morbidity and mortality in both tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The current available drugs are limited, ineffective, and require long treatment regimens."
