"The most common predisposing factor for aspergillomas is the presence of a pre-existing lung cavity secondary to tuberculosis, bronchial cysts and bullae, neoplasms, and pulmonary infarction. However, Aspergilloma within a hydatid cyst is a rare occurrence," scientists in Chandigarh, India report. "A 52-year-old female was presented with chest pain and shortness of breath.
