New investigation results, 'Application of high-speed counter-current chromatography for the isolation of antiviral eremophilenolides from Ligularia atroviolacea,' are detailed in a study published in Biomedical Chromatography. "Ligularia is mainly distributed in the western regions of China. Most of the species have been traditionally used in folk medicine for the treatment of hepatitis B, asthma, hemoptysis and pulmonary tuberculosis," scientists writing in the journal Biomedical Chromatography report.
