New research, 'Occurrence and diversity of Legionellaceae in polar lakes of the Antarctic peninsula,' is the subject of a report. "Legionellaceae is a family of gram-negative, mesophilic, and facultative intracellular parasitic bacteria that inhabits freshwater environments.
