According to recent research from Beer Sheva, Israel, "Standard operating procedures are the basis of a consistent response to varied threats. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the quality of standard operating procedures developed by hospitals for the management of a pandemic influenza outbreak and the level of performance in a H5N1 flu drill."
