Studies from University of KwaZulu-Natal reveal new findings on HIV/AIDS

According to recent research published in the journal Bailliere's Best Practice and Research In Clinical Rheumatology, "In 2007, approximately 33 million people were living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection worldwide. Sub-Saharan Africa has been hardest hit by the HIV pandemic."
