New artificial chromosomes data have been reported by investigators at University of British Columbia, Child and Family Research Institute

Current study results from the report, 'Bacterial artificial chromosome fingerprint arrays for the differentiation of transcriptomic differences in mycobacteria,' have been published. According to recent research from Vancouver, Canada, "Although microarray technology has become more widespread as a discovery tool for bacterial pathogenesis, it remains a method available only to laboratories with access to expensive equipment and costly analysis software.
