Researchers detail in 'A model of phenotypic susceptibility to tuberculosis: deficient in silico selection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis epitopes by HLA alleles,' new data in tuberculosis. "HLA-DR allelic variants have been associated with tuberculosis (TB) susceptibility in different populations with risk ratios of 3.7 to 7.2.
