New data from University of Western Australia illuminate research in liver disease clinical trial

Fresh data on liver disease are presented in the report 'The trials and tribulations of the treatment of nonalcoholic fatty-liver disease.' In this recently published article, scientists in Perth, Australia conducted a study "To review published clinical trials, with a focus on those of randomized design, of the management of nonalcoholic fatty-liver disease (NAFLD), an increasing complication of the obesity epidemic. There is increasing recognition that cardiovascular risk issues are associated with NAFLD."
