New infectious mononucleosis research from R.G. Hosey et al outlined

In this recently published article, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To quantitatively assess the degree and rate of splenic enlargement and the time required for regression of splenic enlargement in collegiate athletes diagnosed with acute infectious mononucleosis (IM). Prospective cohort study."
