Reports from J.J. Chen and co-researchers add new data to research in influenza

According to recent research from Wuhan, People's Republic of China, "Two avian influenza virus strains, A/domestic green-winged teal/Hunan/67/2005 (H5N1) (D-GWT/67) and A/domestic green-winged teal/Hunan/79/2005 (H5N1) (D-GWT/79), were isolated from healthy domestic green-winged teals (Anas crecca) in Hunan Province, South China. Genomic analysis showed that both isolates were reassortants."
